    What is MyWSCC?

    MyWSCC is Washington State Community College's Single Sign-on web portal. It allows you to access various services, including Sakai, email, and WebAdvisor, with one username and password, from one website. You can get to MyWSCC by clicking on the MyWSCC link at the top of our WSCC homepage, or directly at my.wscc.edu.


    Who is authorized to use MyWSCC?

    MyWSCC is for all students, faculty, and staff.


    Am I a "First Time User"?

    Everyone is a "First Time User" until they have successfully logged into MyWSCC.


    I'm a first time user.  Where do I start?

    To discover your user name and WSCC email address:

    • Go to my.wscc.edu and select on the "First Time User" menu item.
    • Type in the last 6 digits of your SSN, last name, date of birth, and your WSCC ID number, which is located on your WSCC ID card.
    • Click the "OK" button, which will redirect you to a page that will display your MyWSCC user name and WSCC email address.
    • Specify a new password and confirm the password.
    • Click the "OK" button.  If your new password met complexity requirements, you will briefly see a page confirming your success, and then you will be redirected to the MyWSCC login page.
    • Enter your new MyWSCC user name and password.
    • Click the "Log in" button. 
    • You should now have access to your webmail, WebAdvisor, and e-learning applications via links on the left side of the page.

    I forgot my password.  What should I do?

    To reset your password:

    • Go to my.wscc.edu and select the "Forgot Your Password" menu item.
    • Type in your MyWSCC user name, the last 6 digits of your SSN, last name, date of birth, and your WSCC ID number, which is located on your WSCC ID card.
    • Click the "OK" button, which will redirect you to a page that will display your MyWSCC user name and WSCC email address.
    • Specify a new password and confirm the password.
    • Click the "OK" button.  If your new password met complexity requirements, you will briefly see a page confirming your success, and then you will be redirected to the MyWSCC login page.
    • Enter your new MyWSCC user name and password.
    • Click the "Log in" button. 


    How do I change my password?

    To change your password:

    • Log in to the portal at my.wscc.edu
    • Click on the "Change password" link.
    • Type in your old password, new password, and confirm the new password. Your new password must be seven characters long and it must contain at least one letter, one number, and one special character (excluding the _ character).
    • Click the "OK" button. If your new password met complexity requirements, you will briefly see a page confirming your success, and then you will be redirected to the MyWSCC login page.
    • Log in to the portal using your user name and new password.


    I forgot my user name.  What should I do?

    To retrieve your user name:

    • Go to my.wscc.edu and click on the "Forgot your user name" link.
    • Type in the last 6 digits of your SSN, last name, date of birth, and your Washington State Community College ID number, which is located on your Washington State Community College ID card.
    • Click the "OK" button, which will redirect you to a page that will display your MyWSCC user name.
    • Click the "Log in" link to be redirected to the MyWSCC login page
    • Log in to the portal using your MyWSCC user name and password.


    Can I use Outlook or another email application or my phone to access my new email account?

    Yes. You can find instructions on how to configure your new Google account for use with an email client application or from a mobile device here.


    When accessing my email account for the first time, I get a setup screen from Google. What should I do?

    This screen is required by Google and states their Terms of Service. Read their Terms of Service, and, if you agree, fill in the requested data and click "I accept. Create my account."


    Can I access Sakai, WebAdvisor, or email directly, without using MyWSCC?

    No. To access any of these services, you must login to MyWSCC.


    Do I need to log out of any of the applications/websites when I’m done or just MyWSCC?

    You should always log out of each application/website when you are done, including MyWSCC.
